To much fanfare, Boston College fans now know the conference lineup for this winter. The Eagles went 9-11 during conference play last season in Earl Grant's second season as head coach of BC, looking to build on one of the best regular season's the program has had in recent memory.
The Eagles open up ACC play, traveling back from Nashville with a December 2 matchup with NC State at Conte Forum. After ringing in the New Year, BC will flip the page to their full conference slate, as they welcome Wake Forest will come to The Heights. Next, the Eagles hit the road for what will be an important stretch of three consecutive away games, at Georgia Tech, Syracuse, and Clemson -- for a team that struggled on the road the previous season, this presents an opportunity to change that narrative and pick up wins away from Conte.
January wraps up with Notre Dame and UNC at home, followed by returning to Notre Dame and Virginia Tech, where the Eagles were able to triumph in their previous campaign, before lastly drawing Syracuse, again, this time at home.
The competition sees a significant uptick in February with an improved Florida State team coming to town before heading to Cameron Indoor with Duke. Play will continue to heat up as Louisville and Miami make their way north, followed by visits to Florida State and NC State. Virginia will seek to avenge their upset loss to the Eagles, with a familiar late-night, mid-week tip. Senior night in Chestnut Hill will then be slated for the first Saturday in March and the remaining coming at Miami and Louisville.
BC opens up their season on November 6 against Fairfield at home.
