Boston College 68, Richmond 61: That's a 3-0 start

Boston College is off to a 3-0 start to the year, as they took down a top-100 (KenPom) Richmond Spiders team at Conte Forum.

It wasn't exactly an easy fight though -- the Eagles fell to an early 28-14 deficit but they clawed back before Donald Hand Jr. hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to make it 34-30 Spiders at the half. BC then dominated the second half, and they took a 41-40 lead five minutes into the second half before running away with the lead from there. Richmond kept it below a 10-point deficit all the way through, but the Eagles would pull away with the win.

Quinten POst led the scoring with 17 while Prince Aligbe and Claudell Harris Jr. both had 10. Post also had five assists while him and Aligbe both had 10 boards. Mason Madsen also had nine points.

BC looks ahead to Saturday where they host Harvard at 5pm.
