Boston College 21, UConn 14: Four straight wins

CHESTNUT HILL, Ma. -- On a gorgeous day on the heights, Boston College grabbed their fourth straight win to end the non-conference schedule, taking down UConn 21-14.
UConn got on the board first, though, as Thomas Castellanos fumbled on the opening drive and the Huskies responded with a touchdown.
The Eagles responded with a scoring drive of their own. Castellanos authored a 75-yard drive that ended in a Kye Robichaux touchdown knotting it up at 7, and they took the lead on their next drive with a Castellanos-to-Alex Broome six-yard touchdown pass.
BC had an opportunity late in the first half on the UConn 17-yard line, though Castellanos was intercepted in the end zone to keep it a one-score game heading into the half.
The Eagles then had a missed field goal on their opening drive of the second half on Liam Connor's missed kick, but Robichaux took a 13-yard run into the end zone to give BC a 21-7 lead late in the third.
UConn picked up a touchdown early in the third quarter, but they missed a field goal with seven minutes to go and BC iced the clock from there to pick up the win.
BC travels to Syracuse Friday night as they have four games left on the conference slate.
